01 / Acceptance and eligibility
Using LunaEcho means accepting these Terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ShadowOkami, the operator of the LunaEcho managed service ("LunaEcho", "we", "us", or "our"). They apply when you install, access, test, or use LunaEcho.
You must be legally able to accept these Terms and meet Discord's minimum age requirements. If you use LunaEcho for an organization or community, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.
Your use of Discord remains subject to the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If these Terms conflict with Discord's rules, Discord's rules control your use of Discord.
02 / The service
A modular Discord community platform.
LunaEcho is designed to provide community tools such as moderation, onboarding, tickets, leveling, temporary voice channels, server logging, music, and automation. Features are introduced in stages and may not all be available.
LunaEcho is currently in pre-release. Access may be limited to approved test servers, and public managed plans are not yet offered. Plan names, limits, prices, and features shown on the project page describe the current product direction and may be updated before launch.
Installation authority
You may only add or configure LunaEcho in a Discord server when you have permission from the server owner or an authorized administrator. You are responsible for selecting appropriate bot permissions and configuring features for your community.
03 / Acceptable use
Do not use LunaEcho to harm people or systems.
You must comply with applicable law, these Terms, Discord's rules, and the rights of others. In particular, you must not:
- Use LunaEcho for harassment, abuse, fraud, spam, illegal activity, or rights violations.
- Collect, expose, or request passwords, authentication tokens, financial data, health data, or other sensitive information through LunaEcho.
- Attempt to bypass plan limits, access controls, rate limits, or security measures.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the managed service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Misrepresent LunaEcho, its operator, or your authority to use it in a server.
- Use automated access outside the documented Discord interactions or supported interfaces.
Server administrators are responsible for informing members about enabled logging, ticket, moderation, or analytics features where required by law or community rules.
04 / Content and data
Your content remains yours.
You retain your rights in content submitted through Discord and processed by LunaEcho. You grant us only the limited permission needed to receive, process, store, display, and delete that content to operate, secure, and support the features you choose.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for content you direct LunaEcho to process. Details about data categories, retention, sharing, and deletion requests are provided in the LunaEcho Privacy Policy.
05 / Managed and Self-Hosted
Responsibilities depend on who operates the service.
Managed LunaEcho
For managed access, we operate the application infrastructure and apply the managed plan limits. If paid access is introduced, price, billing cycle, cancellation, and refund information will be shown before a purchase. No paid managed plan is available at the date of these Terms.
Self-Hosted LunaEcho
When the public repository becomes available, a self-hosted operator controls their own deployment, data, security, updates, and legal compliance. The repository's software license will govern use of the source code. We are not the controller of data processed solely by an independent self-hosted installation.
06 / Availability, changes, and termination
Pre-release access can change.
We may change, pause, restrict, or discontinue features to improve reliability, respond to security or legal concerns, comply with Discord requirements, or develop the product. We will try to communicate material managed-service changes clearly, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
You may stop using LunaEcho at any time by removing it from your server. We may suspend or end access when we reasonably believe these Terms, Discord's rules, applicable law, security, or service stability are at risk. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.
07 / Warranties, responsibility, and law
Use a pre-release service with appropriate care.
LunaEcho is provided on an "as available" basis during development. To the extent permitted by law, we do not make implied promises about fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or preservation of content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, or mandatory consumer rights. For other claims, liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
German law applies, without limiting mandatory protections or jurisdiction rights available to consumers in their country of residence.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as LunaEcho develops. The current version and effective date will remain published on this page. If a material change affects an available managed service, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or project website where practical.
